This is my first attempt at creating a video from my new digital video camera. It took some time but finally figured out how to slice and dice the video, but there is no sound. So enjoy this video of me picking up the girls with no sound.

How Do You Do It?
I get this question frequently, how do you do it? The answer is actually quite simple. I have the support of two wonderful men, my Heavenly Father and my Husband. Sometimes, I feel like I do not give them the credit they deserve.
You may not know this but I have the BEST husband in the WHOLE world. He has been home with our kids for the last two weeks. He managed our home and the kids schedules while I was in Ethiopia and then stayed home the week after to help me out. While I was in Ethiopia he managed Miranda's schooling, Jacob's therapy(5 people that week), and the every day business of caring for 5 kids. Every therapist that came into our home that week has contacted me just to tell me how wonderful Darren was with Jacob. Of course, I already knew that!! I must also add that he stocked the house with some of my favorite comfort foods and then waited on me hand and foot when I got home. Thank you honey for being the most wonderful husband and father.
When I have not slept in days, God sustains. When I am at the end of my rope, God sustains. When I have gotten a cold from the kids AGAIN, God sustains. When the kids are testing me, God sustains. When several kids are crying at one time, God sustains. When I have nothing left to give, God sustains.
So there you have it, my secret is out. I am not supermom but just a plain old girl who is married to the MOST AWESOME man. BUT most importantly I am the daughter of the HEAVENLY FATHER AND CREATOR THROUGH WHOM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Sorry I have not posted since we have been home. I can't believe it has been a week since we left Ethiopia. I am trying to decide what I want to share about my trip. I really don't want to rehash a day to day journal of our activities but tell about how this trip impacted me as a person. Hopefully, I can sit down and put my feelings into words soon.
Here are a few pics of the girls with some of their new siblings.

The internet is very unpredictable here. Everyday we have had to use a different method of communication. One day email, the next face and today my blog. We picked up the girls yesterday and they are doing great. Grace has beautiful curly hair. She is calling me Mama and is starting to get comfortable with me. She loves to sing. Sera immediately took to me. She is very happy and laughs a lot. Today we are going to the mall for shopping and tonight out for a traditional Ethiopian meal. I have tried to upload pics but they are not working. SORRY you will have to wait until we get home. We love you guys and miss you. Mom, the outfit Grace picked out to wear first was the one you bought for Christmas. She really likes it. THANKS. Her feet are much smaller than we thought. She might even wear the same size as Miranda. Hope to update you after our dinner tonight.

We have made it to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. What a beautiful country. The hotel provided by the airline is first rate. We will be here overnight and then catch our flight to Addis in the morning. Hope to post more when we arrive in Addis. We will not be getting the girls until Tuesday afternoon(Ethiopia time). Hopefully I can post some pics then. Keep praying for us!!
